Li Hing Holdings Limited Chairman & Managing Director, Mr Yan Wai Kiu received the "World Outstanding Chinese" award, and was conferred Honorary Doctorate of Philosophy by Armstorng University, U.S. The ceremony of conferment was held on 14 January 2006 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Mr Yan was nominated and presented the "World Outstanding Chinese" award by the World Outstanding Chinese Association and World Chinese Business Investment Foundation. The "World Outstanding Chinese" award is to praise the achievement and social contribution of the outstanding Chinese all over the world and to present to distinguished individuals for their outstanding achievements and leadership in various industries and sectors.  Other award winners included Mr. Lam Chok Lai, Chairman of Tai Lin Radio Service Ltd. and Ms Mariane Chan, Chief Executive Officer of Healthy International Ltd.

Due to many year movements of professional cleaning service and different outstanding social services such as to help provide education to young poor children in remote areas of China, Mr Yan is optioned to this award.
