Charity Golf Tournament 2007 co-organized by nited Youth Foundation & Golf Digest

Dr. Mickey Yan, the Chairman of Li Hing Holdings Ltd and the Founder of the United Youth Foundation has been a continuous and strong supporter of the charity work of the United Youth Foundation.  "The Charity Golf Tournament 2007" co-organized by the Foundation and the Golf Digest was successfully held this year on 23 March 2007 at Palm Island Resort, Guangzhou.  Apart from being the Advisor of the tournament, Dr. Yan joined hands with the President of United Hearts Youth Foundation Limited, Mr. David Young, the Honorary President of the Foundation, Mr. Peter Lam, the Committee Chairman of Charity Golf Tournament 2007 Mr. Johnny Wong to support the event.

Eight distinguished artists of the Artiste Golf Association of Hong Kong, including Ms. WaWa, Mr. Yan Chi Keung, Mr. Tai Chi Wai, Ms. Lam Yi Kei, Mr. Lau Da, Mr. Law Ka Yan, Law Ka Wing and Leung Long Hei, guests and over 100 ken golfers came to compete at the tournament for prizes.

The participants not only demonstrated their remarkable skills in the sport, but also competed with their outstanding charitable spirit.  Mr. Johnny Wong made a closing remark at the event and presented prizes to the winners of the tournament.  The generous support from corporate sponsors was also recognized.

A total of HK$364,979 was raised for the United Hearts Foundation on the day, including HK$10,000 donations from our company, sponsorships, charitable auctions and other fund-raising activities.  Funds will be on the operational expenses and the Foundation's school-building projects.
